Hope Vision, with the help of partners, served 750 families with food, shelter materials, and clothing.

“I lost everything when the fighting started in my village in Bahar Girindi, I had no hope of how life would be, but the relief help from Hope Vision confirms to me that God really wants me to live said mama Remindra’’.
Hope Vision, with the help of partners and friends, managed to respond to the crisis outbreak in the western part of South Sudan in the equatorial region quickly. The inter-communal fighting started in April and forced nearly 10,000 civilians out of their homes with no economic capacity to help themselves, especially as it was a rainy season. Hope Vision transported food items from Juba through the difficult roads to Mvolo to help the desperate internally displaced people who fled their villages for safety in Mvolo county.
Many families are still without shelter, clothing, and, most importantly, food and medicine. Hope Vision is appealing to partners for help to further respond with help to the people of Girindi.

Helping mama Angig to overcome trauma

I have two sick children, and the situation with Covid-19 does not allow my husband to work. I thank God for the help of Hope Vision. God is the one who sent them, as he is our only Hope’’.
Hope Vision will continue to serve the people of Girindi in Mvolo and Mvolo in these challenging times. Our team on the ground are committed and now helping those suffering from trauma and also training communities on the process of peacebuilding and reconciliations.
